Isabelle Morneau

Physiotherapist

B.Sc. pht

Isabelle Morneau graduated in physiotherapy from Laval University in 2004. She has since followed several advanced training courses in manual therapy (level 3), then she acquired training from the Academy of Craniofacial Therapy for CRAFTA techniques. It was after this specialized training that she developed a growing interest in the treatment of the jaw (TMJ), as well as in post-concussion symptoms and the management of migraines.

Thanks to these specific techniques, for several years she has been treating complex cases related to the cranio-mandibular, cranio-vertebral regions and facilitation of the cranial nerves (Bell's palsy, facial pain).

Over the years, Isabelle has broadened her knowledge in several areas, such as myofascial release, and followed Lynn Watson's shoulder training (level 2).

Always with the aim of improving her practice, Isabelle completed, in February 2016,  CCM (Complete Concussion Management) training.

A high-level athlete for more than 12 years with the national women's soccer team, Isabelle herself suffered several concussions, which pushed her to improve in this field in a very thorough and precise way, in order to allow to patients who have suffered this type of injury to be treated from the onset of symptoms until their complete rehabilitation.

Passionate physiotherapist and mother of two boys, she continues to train and run, without forgetting her presence with soccer teams in order to transmit to the players her passion and determination which earned her her place in the national team and his various nominations to the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame.
