Christian lord

Physiotherapist

M.Sc. pht

Christian graduated from the University of Montreal in physiotherapy in 2010. He has worked for our clinics since the start of his physiotherapy training since he held the position of physiotherapist assistant from 2006 to 2010.

Christian constantly continues to deepen his knowledge. Among other things, he followed the manual therapy curriculum (upper and lower quadrants level 3). In addition, he has developed an expertise in the assessment and treatment of vertigo and dizziness (vestibular rehabilitation, advanced course), in the assessment and treatment of running injuries and in the positioning of cyclists on the bike. He's also had various shoulder training, lower quadrant stabilization and x-ray prescription, to name a few.

During his career, Christian was also very involved in sports physiotherapy, in particular with several teams. He mainly covered soccer events (Carabins from the University of Montreal, teams from the city of Longueuil, various tournaments) and racquetball (national team, participating among others in the Pan American Games in 2019). He is also involved in judo, gymnastics and volleyball. His involvement has allowed him to travel to several regions of the world to cover high level events. This gave him great experience in dealing with top athletes.

As the operations manager of the Boucherville clinic, Christian likes to get involved in order to improve the services offered. Outside the clinic, Christian has also been involved in teaching at the University of Montreal since 2012.

On a personal level, Christian is the father of two children and, in his spare time, he practices running, floor hockey, skiing (downhill and cross-country), cycling and hiking. He enjoys being involved in several sports, which helps him in his approach to treatment with his athletic patients.
